Improve Your Travel Photos In 30 Seconds

No matter what part of the globe you’re from, you’re probably counting down the weeks until your next vacation. Can you remember how your last vacation pictures turned out?

The irony is that it usually takes just as much time to capture outstanding vacation pictures as it does mediocre ones.

So, what is necessary to take better vacation photos?

It’s pretty simple, really. Here’s how to take phenomenal vacation photographs in 10 steps: Take a few seconds before immediately snapping off 5 pictures and think about these questions:

  1. Is there a better angle?
  2. Are all my settings correct (at a minimum, consider: ISO, metering mode, fill flash, and white balance).
  3. If I re-position myself, could I include something in the foreground (or background) that would improve the picture?
  4. Do I have the right image in my viewfinder? Think of the view as though you were about to crop the final image. Is there way too much extraneous material in the image (or far too little)? Having up to 20% more in an un-cropped photograph is a good idea, but much more than that could begin to degrade the resolution after the picture is cropped.
  5. Would the picture be more effective if taken using a portrait (vertical) perspective rather than a typical landscape (horizontal) perspective?
  6. Do I want to be in this picture? If so, use a tripod or ask a stranger to take the shot.
  7. Would this photo be much more spectacular if taken at another time of day or night (assuming of course, that you could return then)?
  8. Would the picture be better if I had people (or no people) in the shot?
  9. Am I about to be eaten by a wild animal? (It may not be photo-related, but if the camera is also eaten, then…)
  10. Could this photograph improve if a circular polarizing filter was used?

Realize that you probably don’t go on that many vacations per year. Therefore, doesn’t it make a lot more sense to take a few extra seconds before taking your photographs and be happy of your vacation pictures? Otherwise, the same old mediocre alternatives are still available.

Predictable Pluses And Minuses Of A Sandals Honeymoon Celebration

Brides who take care of their own wedding preparations have a lot of details to juggle. They need to coordinate the location of the ceremony, find a reliable photographer, possibly hire a DJ for the reception, and lots more. One of the more enjoyable details, however, should be in making plans for the honeymoon – especially if in an exotic location. Sandals is one of the more favorable spots around the world.

Sandals honeymoons are the resort company’s bread and butter. As an adult’s-only vacation spot, they cater to the romance market, making every honeymoon about the couple. If you’re planning a Sandals honeymoon vacation, keep reading to get an idea of what you can expect.

Somewhat of a Cookie-Cutter Experience

Though Sandals has the honeymoon experience down pat, that makes a lot of couples cringe as they yearn for a more original honeymoon vacation. Because Sandals does so many honeymoons, it can often feel like a honeymoon “factory.”

That said, Sandals knows what they’re doing and they do it well – from the in-room breakfasts to the romantic settings and private pools, there is a reason they’re known as one of the premiere honeymoon destinations.

To avoid having the same honeymoon as everyone else, try tacking on a few extra tours or activities to your trip. A day tour of the nearby city or an afternoon spent rock climbing can mix things up and add some personal style to the trip.

Interaction With Other Couples

While Sandals honeymoons are by nature, a private retreat for couples, there are still many opportunities to interact with other couples. With social lounges, bars, poolside cafes and restaurants, you’ll often find yourself mingling with other honeymooners or couples on vacation.

Some couples really like the added social interaction, while others tend to prefer a vacation that’s slightly more private or self-catered. For that added privacy, couples have the option to invest in a private suite with catered meal service.

Adults Only

For many honeymooning couples, Sandals’ resorts biggest draw is their no children policy. Rather than fighting a family of four for pool space or dodging kids on the way to your dinner table, you can simply enjoy being together.

Parents who are getting married and want to bring their children on the honeymoon will have to look elsewhere.

A Somewhat Expensive Experience

If you’re planning to stay at Sandals, be prepared to pay between $300 and $450 a night for a basic room, including meals and drinks. For a week, that’s just over a minimum of $2100, plus your airfare. However, unlike many expensive resorts, Sandals definitely follows through on their five-star rating and has a strong reputation to prove it.

Full Scale Customer Service

Sandals honeymoons are popular largely because the company consistently provides its guests with a high level of customer service. Their all-inclusive packages are pure luxury, including gourmet meals and stellar service staff. It’s the reason why Sandals continues to win customer service awards on an annual basis.

Taking A Dayoff To The Island

It’s good to take a day off once in a while and take away all the stress and tension from work. Having a great adventure out of town or going to the beach and watch beautiful ladies in bikinis is a great way to relax and forget about computers and paperworks. Speaking of beaches we had a great weekend last month where me and my guy friends went to an island which is not very well known out of our town.
We heard strange rumors about that island but as boys we were more determined to find out the truth ourselves on what lyes beyond it. So before we set our foot on that island we prepared a lot of things like shelter and food so we brought along with us a tent, a lot of food, clothing, sleeping beds, utensils, tools, lotions and Sunglasses for protection.
It was quite an adventure getting there first we have to take a barge to cross the sea from which that island and the city has been separated. Then we commute to get near the mountain from which the island has been covered. After that we climb up the rocky hill and hiked a short distance down to a the entrance of a small residence that looks like a home. From there we realized it was a beautiful resort. A beach of white sand and clear water, rocky mountains and fine limestones, tall trees and lots of nipa huts to stay in. We didn’t expect that it would be that beautiful.
Finally we had arrived to the beautiful resort at first we thought we were alone but there are group of people that came ahead of us. Just as we thought there were beautiful ladies in their bikinis walking along the shore, some women reading in their Designer Reading Glasses while sunbathing on the beach, others where cooking and playing.
So we jumped right in the water and joined the fun without even changing our clothes. The day was full of fun until finally evening came. the night was more beautiful than the day. Sunburned and exhausted as we went home. Some of us cleaning their eyeglasses from the thick dust but we had a great time out there in the island.

Most Beautiful Beaches

There is no better escape then lying on a beach in a beautiful, tropical city. You get to feel the heat of the sun beaming down on your body, making you bronzed and sun kissed. Once you get home you have a gorgeous tan that everyone will be jealous of. Not only is getting a nice tan a great part about the beach, but you also get to feel the cool, crisp water hitting your feet every once in a while. Also, you can feel the refreshing wind coming off of the ocean that gives you a great breeze to beat the heat. Going to the beach is a wonderful time, but just not any beach. We are lucky to be in a world where we have some of the most breathtaking beaches known to mankind. There are some really beautiful beaches in our world that we just have to visit.

Most Beautiful Beaches
The next time you are planning a great vacation, you can make sure that you are going to be visiting one of the most beautiful beaches out there. A lot of factors go into making a beach wonderful. First of all, the water needs to be a clean, blue color. No one wants to go swimming in water that looks all mucky and that you can’t see what is at the bottom, even when you’re on the shore. The sand also needs be a stark, clean white color. The sand should look untouched and should feel soft on the feet. Some shorelines have harsh sand that hurts your feet. You can’t walk barefoot through it which is one of the main ideas of walking through sand.

The location also needs some breathtaking scenery for you to enjoy. In Cancun, the resorts are decorated so beautifully that it accentuates the beautiful beaches so well. You can’t help but look at pictures online and wish that you were there to take it all in. That is why you are so excited to plan a getaway since you can finally be in paradise, if only for a short while.

Visiting some of tropical hotspots across the world will remind you how lucky we are. We have some of the most beautiful beaches ever and there’s really no time like the present to visit one. If you are in need of some rest and relaxation in a warm environment, then plan a trip to the beach. Once you’re lying on your back, listening to the lull of the water and feeling the sun on your skin, you’ll be so glad you made the effort to escape the city for a little while. Kill The Horror Stories Of Resale Timeshare Scams

Many of us have heard the horror stories associated with resale timeshare scams over the years. We’ve heard of companies doing everything short of holding a gun to your head to make you buy. The general impressions of the industry are negative. So how can you avoid getting taken advantage of in this cutthroat business?

The best way is to not even get involved in the first place. Timeshare companies will make promises galore to try and lure you to their lair. “Get free tickets to Disney World and you’ll also receive three days and two nights at our beautiful resort. All that’s required of you is a short 90 minute tour of our resort. We’d just like your feedback on our resort.”

I’m sure that almost all of us have heard something to this effect over the years. See the video here as an example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zelAjGGRX8s

However, what you didn’t hear was that the person you’re talking to is actually just taking your money and selling the rights to your tour to some other company. Along the way your reservation and all the things you were promised have a good chance of getting lost in the shuffle.

That “upgraded” room that you paid for on the ocean might not even exist by the time you get to your hotel.

What about that “90 minute tour”? Actually, that’s usually something that runs about six hours, not 90 minutes, and it’s not a tour. Instead, you’re held hostage and berated about how much money you’d be saving if you simply buy the timeshare.

Don’t believe their numbers, either. Usually, they’re grossly overinflated, and the company touting those numbers is often a fly-by-night operation that’s not going to be in business for long.

They’ll then throw out some astronomical number that you might not spend over 20 years of vacationing. Although we will undoubtedly vacation for 20 more years, the likelihood of this company still being in business after 20 years is slim.

If you are somehow brave enough to tell the first guy who accosts you “no,” they’ll persist, look at you like you lost your mind, and bring in someone called a “closer.” This “closer” then throws in another offer that’s usually less than 50% of the first offer to make it look as though you’re REALLY, really getting a steal.

If you somehow are brave enough to tell them both no, another person will then be sent to the table to take a “survey” of how you were treated. Part of the “survey” is to offer you another price that’s like a third of the first price you saw.

Of course, not all companies that participate in resale timeshare are “shady,” but most of them are. The smartest thing to do is not to take advantage of the so-called “tours” they offer, because most of them aren’t a good deal and are a lot of trouble. If you do happen to go on one, though, make sure you stand your ground. Don’t let us know you and if you don’t want to buy, don’t. If they pressure you into buying, they’ll have won and you’ll have lost. You’ll feel terrible if this happens, so save yourself the trouble and just don’t go in the first place.

Do you own a time share and need to sell it? You are NOT alone. Watch my new free video + discover how to sell a timeshare in 1 week!

Guidebook to Exciting Journey in Malaysia

Malaysia Vacations for Everyone

I am a Malaysian and I invite you to make Malaysia your destination of choice for your next vacation. If you want to relax by the beach, trek the jungle, shoot the rapids, climb mountains, parasail, windsurf, scuba dive, snorkel or do any other such things, think Malaysia. If you like to enjoy the buzz of the city, shop at classy malls, find bargains, be entertained, have fun with your kids or experience any other such things, think Malaysia. If you wish to vacation where East meets West, think Malaysia. Malaysia has it all. Skycrapers such as the Petronas Twin Towers, state-of-the-art facilities, world class accommodation, international and local entertainment, global and regional brands are all found in Malaysia. At the same time, lush rainforests among the oldest in the world, exotic plants and intriguing animals, majestic mountain ranges and iridescent and pristine seas that hug miles of unspoiled beaches all find their home in Malaysia.

Is it expensive? Not at all! A vacation in Malaysia is very affordable compared to many other countries in the same region. $1 is approximately RM3.30 and one can vacation in Malaysia for literally a few dollars a day. Backpacker lodges and motels are aplenty all offering the thrifty traveler very reasonable accommodation at affordable prices. Other countries in the region may be cheaper but offer so much less in terms of places of interest, things to do, entertainment spots and recreational facilities.

If you are seeking a quality vacation with a difference, I will share with you what is in store for you in Malaysia.

If you are the adventurous type, try climbing to the peak of Mount Kinabalu in Sabah, East Malaysia. At 4096 m (about 13, 350 ft) high, it stands head and shoulders above all other peaks in the Crocker Range. It is the highest mountain in South-East Asia. But the unique thing is that its summit is just below the snow-belt and that means anyone even without specialist training or equipment can climb to its peak as long as you are fit enough.

Did you know that the very first series of ‘Survivor’ was shot entirely at Pulau Tiga, a tiny island part of Sabah? Then there are the Mulu Caves in Sarawak, the largest cave chamber in the world. Walking into its interior is an experience like no other. In Malaysia, you can find the largest flower in the world, the Rafflesia. Catch a glimpse of the Proboscis monkey, the species of monkey with the largest and most prominent nose of all or scuba dive into some of nature’s most beautiful coral-laden waters swarming with colorful sea creatures you have never seen in Redang, Perhentian or Sipadan Islands. Try eating the durian, a thorny fruit with a distinct taste and smell. The durian is called the King of Fruits by the locals. Some say it’s the smelliest fruit in the world!

If you are the city-loving type, enjoy the sights and sounds of metropolitan Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia’s capital city. Mega shopping malls that sell international brands of goods and services, street bazaars that promote local products and souvenirs and roadside vendors that sell trinkets are all found here. Be entertained at Malaysia’s world-class entertainment spots such as Genting the City of Entertainment. Genting Highlands also houses Malaysia’s premier casino where you can try your hand at all sorts of games of chance.

For the culturally inclined, you can catch fascinating cultural dances, traditional occupations such as basket weaving, kite flying, top spinning competitions, batik (a local style of cloth and design) printing, traditional music and plenty more. Buy locally made handicraft of all kinds as a remembrance of your visit. Muzium Negara is the national museum of Malaysia. It houses a plethora of artifacts, displays and exhibitions that detail the history, tradition, culture and lifestyle of Malaysia.

If you want to learn about the history of Malaysia, there is no better place to visit than Malacca. The state of Malacca is where the earliest settlers to Malaysia first arrived. In Malacca you can still see remnants of previous colonial powers that ruled Malaysia centuries ago. The remains of the famous fort A Formosa built by the Portugese in the 16th Century still stands, as do the Stadhuys, unique brick-red buildings built by the Dutch about a hundred years later.

All these wonderful experiences await you in Malaysia. Whatever you would like to experience or enjoy, come to Malaysia and discover it for yourself.

Secrets Of Vacation Timeshares And Rentals: Turn A Timeshare Into Cold Hard Cash

If you own one or more vacation timeshares and rentals, there’s a good chance that you won’t always be able to use it. Things come up or you might be running low on cash. Even when you have the accommodations paid for, all the extra expenses it takes to go on vacation can add up.

When you’re unable to use your timeshare when you had wanted to, what can you do with your timeshare week? You could of course do nothing; but this means you’ll just lose out. However, since you paid for that timeshare, there’s no reason you shouldn’t get what you can for it.

One option is to rent your timeshare to someone else. You can cover your expenses or maybe even make a little bit of extra money as well – but how do you go a bout doing this?

If you own vacation timeshares and rentals, you are probably in the area once a year at best. You are unfamiliar with the area and not sure where to even begin. Don’t panic; it’s easier than you might think to rent out your timeshare.

The first thing you must figure out is how much to rent your timeshare for. You don’t want to undervalue your week, but you don’t want to price yourself out of the market either. One of the easiest ways to figure out what your week is worth is to call the resort. Make them believe that you’re someone who wants to rent one of their available timeshares and see what price they give you.

Your vacation timeshares and rentals company may also have a rental program in place already. The resort wants to maintain full occupancy or as close to it as possible to make more money from food, drinks and other services. This is why they may well already have a system in place to rent your timeshare. Ask them about it and decide whether or not they are offering you a deal which is fair; you don’t need to accept less if you could rent it out for yourself. See the video at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zelAjGGRX8s.

If you go about it on your own, you’ll probably have to take a discount from what the resort would rent it for. They have a much bigger advertising budget than you do and can get renters from every corner of the world. You have a limited budget and sometimes have to take what you can get.

Once you get someone that wants to rent your timeshare, you have to make sure everything is straight on the paperwork end. You need to get a good renter’s agreement that spells out everything in writing. You want every possible scenario in writing. Sometimes it’s the only recourse you have against a bad renter.

When it comes to the question of payment, PayPal is a good choice. This provides a measure of security for both buyer and seller and PayPal takes care of receipts, proof of purchase documents and so on, which streamlines the process.

You should always get your money in advance. This shouldn’t be a problem with most renters, but if a potential renter has an issue with this, you should probably look for a different renter. By following these tips, you’ll find it much easier to turn your vacation timeshares and rental into a positive cash flow for you!
